Join us for a wild and unforgettable day at our Wedding Open House! This open house offers an exclusive look at the zoo’s unique wedding venues and services. Whether you envision a ceremony surrounded by nature or a reception with a wild twist, this event is your chance to see it all in action. Expect venue tours, samplings from local vendors, giveaways, special Animal Ambassador visits, and more!

What to expect:

• Opportunities to tour the Mansion House and all of the Zoo’s ceremony locations including:
  • Lakeside Pavilion
  • Penguin Coast
  • Lion Promenade
• Q&A with our venue coordinator
• Food samples from our partner caterers
• Complimentary glass of bubbly or sparkling cider
• Offerings from a diverse range of vendors, including photographers, florists, bakeries, DJs, and other wedding vendors
• The chance to win a fun raffle prize
• Visit from two of our Animal Ambassadors
• Ideas and examples of decor, table-setting, event rentals, and more!

Event Details:

• The event begins at 12:00 PM. Doors will open at 11:45 AM
• This will be a cocktail-style event, seating will be limited. There will be no seating chart or assigned seating
• Please remember to bring your ID – guests will not be given champagne without presenting ID
• The open house is located at the Mansion House
• Attendance is free but requires an RSVP
• This event does not include Zoo admission or entry to the Zoo
• Please email events@marylandzoo.org if you or anyone in your group will need access to an elevator or other mobility assistance
• Additional event details will be emailed to attendees 24 to 58 hours prior to the event
