Keeper-in-Training Camp

A special insider experience for grades 6 – 12!

Keeper-in-Training gives the ultimate insider perspective as campers learn firsthand what it takes to meet the needs of the Zoo’s animals. Campers will experience the ins and outs of the daily life of a zookeeper through unique behind-the-scenes experiences, special animal care workshops, and visits from the Zoo’s team of ambassador animals.

Program Fees

• Member: *$450
• Non-member: $500

*Zoo membership must be current at both the time of registration and during Camp. Please note: the Summer Camp membership discount can be received only by those who have a Companion level membership or above. The camper must reside in the same household as the membership holder.

Aftercare:

An optional aftercare is offered Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Campers can register for all or part of the aftercare program for a flat fee of $50.
