The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and the College Savings Plans of Maryland are pleased to announce the winner of the second “Zookeeper for a Day” giveaway and a College Savings Plans of Maryland account. Congratulations to Ms. Eileen Goetz of Baltimore, Md., who won on behalf of her daughter Samantha! They received a $529 Maryland College Investment Plan account, courtesy of the College Savings Plans of Maryland. As “Zookeeper for a Day” Samantha and guests won a behind-the-scenes Zoo tour to meet and interact with Maryland Zoo keeper staff and access animal care facilities. The family will also receive an annual membership to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
The giveaway was part of a larger partnership between The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and the College Savings Plans of Maryland to promote the importance of education, careers in science and saving for college.
