Summer Hours at the Zoo

Maryland Zoo to open early on weekends May 1st through Labor Day

Also open late the 2^nd Saturday of each month through September

Beginning Friday, May 1, the Zoo will open to guests 30 minutes early at 9:30 a.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day Weekend. Closing time remains 4:00 p.m., with the exception of the second Saturday of each month when we will once again host “After Hours with the Animals.”

“After Hours with the Animals” will be held on May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8 and September 12. On those evenings the Zoo will remain open until 7:00 p.m. Admission will be reduced to $10 per person after 4:00 p.m.
