BALTIMORE, MD – On April 1, 2021, The Maryland Zoo will host an adults-only (21+) Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Guests will show off their competitive nature as they scramble through the wilds of the Waterfowl Lake Pavilion area in search of glow-in-the-dark, prize-stuffed eggs, some of which may contain candy or a prize slip for gifts which include prizes for a one-year membership to the Zoo, gift certificates to favorite area restaurants, fitness class passes, brewery tours, and more!

The event will feature a “hoppy” hour, food trucks, music, a photo booth, yard games, and of course, the grand finale Egg Hunt. Two drinks (beer/wine/water/soda) are included in your ticket price and food is sold separately. (Must be 21 years of age to participate. Participation does not guarantee a prize.)

Tickets are on sale now and are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Tickets purchased through March 3rd are $35, and increase to $40 on March 4th. Zoo Members receive a $10 discount off their ticket purchase for the Egg Hunt.

We encourage participants to bring chairs and/or blankets so they can eat and drink at a social distance from others; to wear comfortable shoes for running around and to bring their cell phones or cameras for distanced photo opportunities with Zoo mascots and the Easter Bunny!

For guests comfort, the following Zoo protocols will remain in place:

  • Tickets are limited to ensure there are fewer guests than the 25% capacity for the Waterfowl Lake Pavilion area.
  • Masks are required, except when eating or drinking.
  • Guests should remain at least six-feet from others outside of their social group.

This event is now sold out.
