The big game is upon us, but why should the players get to have all of the fun?
Super Bowl LIX is almost here! Now’s your chance to participate in this year’s ZOOper Bowl Pool fundraiser. Make a donation to the Zoo today to secure your block(s) for a chance to win one of our wildly exciting prizes, including a Zoo membership, rhino training, Brew at the Zoo tickets, a custom painting by one of our amazing African penguins, and more! All donations made to the Maryland Zoo directly support animal care and conservation.
How does it work?
- Each $25 donation made secures you a block, seen above. There is no limit to the number of blocks you can secure, but each block is $25.
- Donations will be accepted for this fundraiser through COB, Thursday, February 6, OR until all 100 blocks are accounted for, whichever comes first.
- Blocks will be assigned randomly and labeled with your first and last name.
- Team scores along the X and Y axis of the grid will be assigned randomly.
- We will publish the final pool grid on this webpage Friday, February 7 before noon. Additionally, each participant will receive a copy of the final pool grid by email. Please note, the name that you use to make your donation will appear on the grid that is posted on our website and distributed via email to the participants.
How do I win?
Compare your numbers to the score at the conclusion of each quarter. When the last number of each team’s score matches your numbers (the number and the team HAVE to match), you win that quarter’s prize!

Q1 Prize– Core Membership (Includes up to 2 adults and 2 children in a household. Already a member? No worries! Zoo memberships make great gifts for all occasions.)
Q2 Prize– Rhino Training experience (Includes Zoo admission and rhino training experience for up to 4 guests. Restrictions may apply.)
Q3 Prize– Two general admission sampling tickets to Brew at the Zoo 2025 presented by M&T Bank
Q4 Prize– 5×7 custom painting by one of the Zoo’s amazing African penguins
